A VIBRANT NEW WEBSITE FOR ROSSLYN HILL UNITARIAN CHAPEL
Rosslyn Hill Chapel is a Unitarian space and spiritual home in Hampstead, London. I was contacted by the Minister, to provide the Chapel with a new brand feel and redevelop its website.
The new website is vibrant and inviting and includes features that were not on the previous site, such as What's On listings, event registration, synced calendars, an embedded Google Drive for Chapel volunteers and an integrated CRM system.
The Chapel's old website was uninviting and outdated both in look and content. The navigation was muddled and there was a need for a more accessible solution, as well as additional functionality.
The Unitarian General Assembly had recently undertaken a branding project, and was keen to roll this out across all Unitarian organisations, but the Minister was not sure how this aligned with Rosslyn Hill's own personality and Chapel community.
I worked closely with the Minister and board members to restructure existing and new website content and present it coherently. Three website design options were presented, each incorporating a different approach to the Chapel's 'brand'.
The chosen route was inspired by the new GA branding, but with a softened feel, more befitting the Chapel.
I also provided new brand guidelines and a digital newsletter template, so that volunteers can be confident that any materials they send out remain in keeping with the brand.
